***14kt Gold-filled metal is made with a brass core that has a substantial layer of 14kt gold bonded to it. It is far better than gold-plate, and the 14kt gold is guaranteed to be 5% of the overall metal weight. If treated correctly, it will always look like solid gold...so please remove GF jewelry (or any jewelry you care about!) before exercise, showering, swimming, applying makeup, etc. You may notice discoloration over time where the brass core is exposed (edges, solder joints) - use a gentle polishing cloth to clean those areas as needed.
